Thanks! My goodness, Jay. Let us return to the neurosurgery and rocket science. Maybe I should have read the Cliffs Notes. He did get the Nobel Prize in literature. The book is long and I found it tedious, too, but I think it aptly captures the human predicament––at least enough to come fresh and foggy to mind after 50 years. Back to evil anti-evolutionists! which are a clear and present danger.

On a serious note, I think Uzzo's comments the best, and Martin's concerns much warranted. I think the way through and around the issues are a positive attitude that emphasizes the predictive benefits of theory and understanding. Anger needs to drive us to considered action and not retribution.
