Hi Preeti,

Prior to working here, I worked in the public schools and a community
center. Over the years, I've tried many different things to provide a
journaling experience. One of the coolest ideas I took part of was
having the kids create their own "experience wall".  You hang a blank
cloth (or huge pieces of paper) on a wall beside whatever experience you
want chronicled. Leave markers/crayons for the kids to leave their
thoughts. We got many interesting comments - I don't remember anything
inappropriate appearing the times that this was done - and they were
fresh because the kids were allowed to write immediately following their
experience. Hope this helps.
