ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.
*****************************************************************************

In order to fulfill their missions and serve their communities, science centers and museums need to become economically sustainable. An upcoming issue of ASTC's magazine, Dimensions, will focus on how science centers and museums can achieve this by diversifying their revenue sources (whether through grants, major gifts, sponsorships, membership programs, or earned income); supporting and motivating staff in challenging times; partnering or merging with other institutions; or focusing on their core missions. We're looking for a diverse array of contributors-representing museums of all sizes, consulting firms, etc., in a wide variety of countries-who can share best practices and practical tips and strategies. If you're interested in contributing, please contact me at [log in to unmask]
