This poor woman is really struggling! I wanted to update you with an email
she sent to our group (sharing with her permission)

"Thank you so much. I would love ideas on nursing positions. I have
attached a photo, my right arm in cast at a left angle, my left at a right
angle. Both are in front of me, i cannot bend them due to cast or lift them
due to pain. This has made side nursing impossible for now. We have a
nurse staying with us for now because i need help with all activites of
daily living. They cannot leave me alone with the baby because i cannot
hold him. I may need surgery, we find out on tuesday. Thank you for all
the support and encouragement."

I have passed the position suggestions along and she will be working through
some of them, I believe the nurse is help a lot with holding the baby to the
breast ect. I think this will just be a long difficult road, I am hoping she
can persevere nursing through it!!! I know she is working through the
emotional side just as much as the physical. Having someone else do
everything for your baby and you must be so difficult!!!

Thank you for all the input!!!

Leah
