The University of Rhode Island and St. Mary’s College in California
conducted undergraduate field schools in maritime archaeology in Bermuda
in 2009 and 2010.   Today we’ve launched an interactive poster showing
highlights from those two field seasons. Students visited sites spanning
multiple centuries and events including the US Civil War.  We also have
video interviews with Dr. Jim Allan and Dr. Rod Mather on what it’s like
to teach maritime archaeology to their undergraduate students in Bermuda.
