Add me to your "True Confessions" group, Kirk! There is so much
hive-to-hive, and yard-to-yard variability in mite levels. We were also
surprised by mite counts in some of our yards, and are getting on the oxalic
dribble as weather permits.

I just completed a trial of two different fall mite treatments--Apiguard
thymol gel (which we normally use during warmer weather) and the new
MiteAway Quick Strips (formic acid gel). I'll post results soon.
