ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

What was interesting about the NYer article, to me, was idea of physical
space being conducive to creative collaboration. That MIT Lab 20 was jam
packed with mega-creative types, but they weren't all thrown into a room
together. They had their own spaces where they could be alone and
productive. But then many crazy opportunities for unplanned time sharing
ideas when someone got lost in the labyrinth of the building. Privacy is
nice, but can also create a vaccuum. Being put in an open pen-like
workspace can be super oppressive and kill and creative spark. There must
be a happy medium!~
