Howdy all. Liberty Science Center (via myself and a tech/av-associate director named Russell de Moose) has started the process of developing a social/tech approach to share, collaborate on, discuss museum technology and design needs, leveraging a few amazing, astounding resources: github, forrst, and reddit.  

For anyone interested in learning more about the project, check out this reddit post, and if you're looking for some open source code, check out our github organization (message me if you would like to contribute). This is just the beginning (definitely, the initial stages), but we hope to build something that is truly useful and helpful. Additionally, we are discussing open source museum technology at SXSW (South by Southwest). Please click on the button below for more information on our core conversation.
