ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

I need you to do some research on programs that are available at other
science centers.  Are there any programs out there that involve
students, or the general public, in a real, sustained research project.
A project that simply has visitors doing the same activity with the same
results to evaluate would not count.  For example: I saw one activity in
the Dimensions Magazine where students build mini windmills and test
them - this would not count.  An example I am thinking of would be
something like each participating visitor collects a water sample from
the local river, analyzes the chemistry of the sample, records it
including date, time, GPS location, etc. and then adds it to a standing
database where they could run analytical programs for trending, etc.
