ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

For the ISEN community:

As of this writing, it appears that Brian Taylor, the former Director of
Science Alive, died in the CTV building collapse in Christchurch. Brian was
a good friend and mentor to me, and I had the privilege of working with him
at ASTC and National Association of Science Writers meetings. His death has
not been confirmed, but the building was considered unsurvivable due to the
collapse and fire. Hoping this is proved wrong.
