workshop designed specifically for informal science educators

For some new perspectives on making your programs and exhibits more
relevant to K-12 teachers and students, join us for the AAAS Project
2061 workshop designed especially for science center and museum staff
who work with school-based audiences. You*ll learn how to use the Atlas
of Science Literacy strand maps and other Project 2061 resources to view
your programs and exhibits through a new lens. 
 
Project 2061*s two-volume Atlas is an innovative resource that presents
nearly 100 strand maps that display conceptual connections among the
ideas and skills that all students should learn as they make progress
toward science literacy. Project 2061 was founded in 1985 by the
American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) to help all
Americans become literate in science, mathematics, and technology.
 
Scholarships and Early Bird rates are available, but registration is
