ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

We've done a demo for many years where we dip a graham cracker in LN2, then
eat it. Gas billows out the nose & silliness ensues. Sometimes we let our
visitors do it too -- with clear instructions to swallow their saliva first.
We've done it for at least 10 years with no problems.

Recently some safety concerns have surfaced. I'd appreciate feedback from
other groups who do this kind of trick:

1) What protocols do you observe to assure visitor safety?
2) Have you had issues come up with insurance coverage?
3) Any incidents you can report?

Thanks!
