I have been treated by  homeopathic physician who is also an M.D. Some of his treatments were successful... So I'm not prepared to throw the baby out with the bathwater. Of course there are many "treatments" that are nothing but scams. 

also, I agree with Bill, the secret to EO's may be in preventing disease, not treating it.  Ans some studies also support the use of EO's. And the cost of a lost hive is much higher than the cost of a couple ounces of EO's.
