Sounds like vasospasm.
Could be hyperlactation (3rd baby, full breasts, intense MER)
or plugged ducts (milk pushing through the plug)
or sore nipples (nipple damage can cause vasospasm)
or thrush but without evidence of thrush it is likely one of the other 3.
If it is hyperlactation, lowering the supply usually decreases the symptoms.
If it is plugged ducts, the usual: rest, heat, massage and keeping breasts empty will help it go away.
If it is sore nipples, fix the latch and the nipple soreness usually goes away.  If the baby is chompy and doesn't flare her lips, check for tongue tie and short labial frenulums.
Of course, it might be all of the above, too, since they can occur together.
