Subject: Spelling of "pH"


Hi BEE-L  Much discussion on list referring to the acidity/ alkalinity index of various liquids. This standard numerical scale expressing the hydrogen ion concentration should be shown as "pH". The "p" is for "power" and the "H" stands for "Hydrogen". The pH of 7 is considered "neutral"- higher # is alkaline, lower # is acidic.
