ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Dear Mari, et al.,

Let me assure you that the email and the directory are legitimate. I
recognize that the language is confusing, and we are working to resolve
that. The directory, which is set to launch in November, is being produced
by the Coalition for Science After School and is owned and managed by ASTC
member Lawrence Hall of Science at UC Berkeley. It is sponsored by Time
Warner Cable and will be part of a national campaign that they are
launching. This means that it is a way to get free publicity for your
programs!

The reason that many of you have received this email is that we have entered
your organization's information into the database for you. We may have also
mined a few programs from your website (being careful to only use public,
accurate information). This is intended to save you time and get you
started in the system.

If you prefer not to list your programs, please let us know (
[log in to unmask]) and we will remove them. However, I
hope that you will instead login and add program information. You can list
events, afterschool programs, camps, exhibits, and anything else that might
appeal to a local person searching by ZIP Code or Keyword for STEM learning
opportunities.

If you have trouble accessing your account, you can reset your password at:
http://directory.scienceafterschool.org/forgot There should only be one
username and password per institution, so you may need to share (or create
separate accounts by department).

Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Thanks for your
time!

-Jason
