We did this for LLL/WIC at the Colorado State Fair last year. It was
LONG (10days of wrangling enough volunteers), but well worth it. We
also sold some merchandise (slings, books, water bottles), had
tear-off sheets available, and a water cooler. We weren't allowed to
sell water bottles, so we just had ice water and cups available for
free. We stocked it with wipes, hand sanitizer, etc. We had 2 rocking
chairs. Oh, we had fans because it is HOT in Pueblo, Colorado in
August. :) We also had some coloring stuff available for toddlers in
case moms with infants had to keep them busy as well.

We made quite a few good contacts and even did some one-on-one
helping. It's worthwhile--especially if you have paid staff to commit.

Good luck!

.  Anybody doing this already?  If so I would love any suggestions,
pointers, lists of needed supplies (chairs, changing tables etc) and
good sources to get them.  thanks!
