The industrial versions should work fine, a range of options and costs.

Its (almost) always worth getting the best you can.

IF the budget doesn't stretch to the ip65 rated, industrial dirt proof,
spill proof option,

have a look at the recent appearance of "flexible" keyboards. I have no
idea why they are making these and selling them to the public, but they
are. These are one piece sealed rubber coated keyboards ( some with led
self illumination options). SO you can wipe them down, you can't pull
keys off etc, and they cost $20-100, and could be bonded to an exhibit
directly, or to a base plate and then fastened to an exhibit.

perhaps an option, depending on your budget and visitor load?

I am looking for assistance to select a durable keyboard to use with a
computer interactive. I am exploring to idea of using a virtual keyboard
and touch screen, but may have to use a regular keyboard. Does anyone
know of a good keyboard that will hold up well in a museum environment?

Thank you, Paul
