This feeding bottle was a new one on me!

"Milk & Tickles Colour Change Bottle"

 >

"Milk and Tickles have designed a fun BPA free baby bottle. These
bottles react to body heat and can change colour from blue to pink,
using a non-toxic heat sensitive colour change technology the bottles
changes colour at 35 degrees so you can make hand prints and designs!

250ml standard shape, the only 100% Australian produced BPA and
phthalate free bottle. Comes with a long silicon teat – as recommended
by lactation consultations to enable easy swapping between breast and
bottle.

Features of this bottle:[...]
Colour changes from blue to pink at 35 degrees
Changes back to blue once it has cooled
Not designed as a safety tool
Body Temperature changes the colour
Make hand prints and designs
Fits most standard sized teats
Great fun for babies and toddlers
Australian owned"

The manufacturing company heads its website with "It's all about the
smiles!"

<http://www.milkandtickles.com.au/>

and includes the copy "Whether your baby has just entered the world or
is already walking the colour changing bottle will delight and
surprise the whole family, even the big kid in you!"

"Put the FUN back into bottle feeding!"

"We believe.....
Parenting is all about balance.
It is about balancing your career and your home life.
It is about balancing the natural and organic with the realities of
modern living. [...]
It is about feeling attached but knowing when to let go. "

The product is being quite heavily promoted. One store, Beyond Belly,
was giving away a free bottle for every order over $50. Social media
such as Facebook are being used to promote the product, with a group
labelled "I want a Milk and Tickles BPA free baby bottle". Gorwing Up
Green has advertised them in a advertorial called "4 BPA Free Ways to
Gulp Down that Milk!"

Bleaargh. I'm really disgusted that so many supposedly
"environmentally friendly", "organic", and "healthy" stores are
pushing bottle feeding so very hard.
