Queenless swarms are common (queen can't fly, or is on the ground in front
of the colony); the bees soon return. If you hive them, they will also
return to the parent colony (if you haven't moved them away, of course).
If you hold queens in a queen bank colony, the bees may swarm day after day,
and then return when they realize that all the queens were left behind.
