Rachael,

I guess my question would be whether the nursing staff would have an
issue if the mother brought in her own ABM, or maybe if they would
insist that the mother meet the cows that produced that ABM before
they fed it to her baby?

--Diana in NY (feeling a little bit snarky...my honest opinion is that
if this nursing staff succeeded in keeping the mother from feeding the
donated milk to her baby, they'd potentially be up for a lawsuit,
especially if the feeding of ABM led to future problems. I thank you
sincerely for asking this question as I am currently putting together
an hour-long session about milk-sharing and the various controversies
and information that is out there.)
