When we saw Cathy Genna speak on the topic of tongue ties in 2007 one of the things she said that stood out in my mind is that they are more common in people of European descent. She may have said northern European, I’m not sure; this is from recall.  That confirmed our experience here since we serve a lot of Hispanics, most of whom ultimately are of Spaniard descent…
