I don't know how feasible this is, but...
 
Outreach Live (where we educators get to see our cohorts present their
outreach programs in real time - we travel to a school to see them
presented to actual kids, just like any other outreach we do) has been a
big success. Keeping it real works well.
 
Perhaps this could be done for other factions, too. Have a session on
floor programs - done for actual visitors at the host museum. Or the
exhibits folks could head to the host center's shop to spend part of the
time building stuff, or examine the design... Not sure what those of you
in the development/marketing/management groups could do along those
lines, but it's a thought.
