Hello Kimberly,
We have exactly that set up in our space center. I don't know the costs
involved with it but I can direct you to our astronomy program manager,
planetarium engineer, and exhibit tech who may be able to give you some
more insight as to cost, operation and upkeep.

We are developing an energy exhibit for children ages ten and under -
with wind, water, solar and nonrenewable activities. For part of the
solar energy area, someone suggested a small, roof-mounted telescope
with a hydrogen alpha filter and CDD camera that would transmit a live
image of the sun onto a monitor inside the museum.

Does anyone have experience with this? Is this appropriate for our
audience? What would costs run?

Thanks in advance,
Kim
