Probably not, although the honey would have a different flavour - much 
cerana honey from S India comes from the rubber trees (extra-floral 
nectaries) and is not, to my taste, a particularly good flavour; I believe 
that much of it goes in things like breakfast cereals.  It also tends to 
have a very high moisture content (I measured 23.75%), but this can be 
reduced with appropriate equipment.  In Thailand I saw what was, 
effectively, nectar being harvested - but processing quickly reduced the 
moisture to whatever the customer wanted - 15% - 18%.
