As my apiaries grew, I inquired about liability insurance.  My homeower's agent said, "No way!" but he was kind enough to hook me up with a business insurance guy who shopped the market, found me insurance and wrote the policy.
 
I checked with my local Farm Bureau and they treated me like a leper.  I even quoted (from other beekeepers who used Farm Bureau) the exact kind of coverage other beekeepers were buying.  I'd probably have better luck insuring a nuclear bomb manufacturing plant.
 
I'd also make more money!
