Beryl-

We provide in-service workshops (hands-on, inquiry/inventing/creative
problem solving) for museums in the US and overseas. Museums typically work
with the professional development director at the various school districts
who can point out colleges that are eager to offer credits. They also know
what the requirements are to get the credits.

Best wishes,

Ed

Hi all,
We have just received a small pot of money to be used as seed funding
for an endowment. The donor is interested in our using it to hold a
seminar or other event for K-12 teachers. What kinds of 1-2 day events
have you held? This could be a professional development event (which
could be very easy to pull off), or not. Anybody have any experience
with developing this kind of event? My experience has been that if it
isn't professional development complete with "credits", teachers won't come.
Thx,
Beryl
