My doctorate was An Examination of Trait Anxiety, Nurturance, and  Endurance 
Scores as Predictor Variables of Breastfeeding Duration" and as  fate would 
have it, my oral defense was on the 35th Anniversary of LLL  -- October 17, 
1991.  It was not planned, just worked out that  way.  To commemorate the 
accomplishment, my next license plate became MOM  PHD.  We have all sorts of different 
license plates in Florida, and the one  that donates to the public school 
system has a graduation cap in the  center.  So my plate is MOM PHD with a 
graduation cap in the center of the  two words.  For me, the important thing was  
that MOM role came  first.
