To do pre- and post-feed weights, it must be accurate to 1gm for small babies & 2gm for larger babies. I would be surprised to find one for less $$ than Medela's in that range of accuracy. I have a Tanita BLB12, which was a little less, but I hear it has been discontinued.
Most other scales are accurate to 5gm and they are fine for checking periodic growth. But 5gm is too big a difference to measure amount of milk intake.
The description in the Childbirth Graphics catalog does claim to have a pre- and post-feed weight feature, tare weight, etc. but it does not specifically state the degree of accuracy. I would find that out first. If it is in the desired range, the price is surprisingly inexpensive. How can they do that? Like you, I would want to hear from people who have already bought it to find out the quality of it.

We have a new mothers group and need to purchase a portable scale to move
to the meeting room once a wwek. We are looking at a Medela scale but found
one in Childbirth Graphics has anyone bought this one . We just do weight
check for the mothers but everynow and then we will go pre and post feed
weights. Any ideas on an affordable scale to meet this purpose?
I hope to meet alot of you at the conference this will be my first.
