I saw these Dyson hand dryers this spring at an airport in the US (MN, I
think) and at the London Science Museum. It's similar to your car being
blown dry as you slowly pull out of a car wash. I dislike other hand
dryers, but this was quick and easy. It turns on when you insert your
hands. In only a couple of seconds pulling my hands out, I thought they
were dry enough. I don't recall if it sensed when my hands were out and
turned off or not, but the infrared sensor mentioned on the website
sounds like that is how it works.
