ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

The Minnesota Children's Museum has backpacks they call "Science
Storypacks," which can be checked out by parents and educators. (The
check out process is handled at the front desk/box office.) You can read
about the program online at:

Anyone interested might want to check out the Strong Museum in
Rochester,
NY, where they are a branch library. You can check out books there and
return them at any branch. Perhaps you could arrange with your local
library for the kits to be a collection and then they could handle
cataloging and tracking, etc. Perhaps you could also circulate science
books as part of the deal.
