ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Hello,

my name is Andrea Bryk. I work for a natural history museum in Salzburg,
Austria, as exhibition designer. Next year I will carry out a project
investigating the approach of adult women (rather than primary school
children or adolescents) to hands-on exhibits in science centres in order to
allow changes to be made to exhibit design to allow for the needs of both
males and females. I will design a questionnaire and carry out interviews
leading to concrete proposals. The project aims to support an initiative to
get adult women interested in jobs in science and technology also with
respect to widening their choice of jobs.
I would therefore be extremely grateful if someone could point me to
existing studies and other literature relating to my project.

Thanking you in advance for your help,
with kind regards,
Andrea Bryk
