Waterloo always has an interesting classical selection, especially given
that it's very small.  I always wished they could build a second story
on theat wonderful store, one of the best-known indies in the USA.  They
also have all the 'popular' music in one big alphabetical section: jazz,
rock, country etc all mixed together, which I think is cool.

Didn't Russell also work briefly at Barnes & Nobles's Arboretum store,
what they call a flagship location? A better selection there than usual
for a big box store, just because it's so big.

I find stuff I want (especially keep abreast of new Naxos releases) by
catching the classical reviews at MusicWeb five days a week. But like
you, Karl, I miss the Schwann.  They listed the new releases separately
each month.
