The Anthropology Department at The College at Brockport, SUNY, is seeking a temporary (one-year, non-tenure) archaeologist for AY 2009-2010.  Area and specialty is open.  The applicant will be expected to teach four courses per semester.  Courses for the fall include Introduction to Archaeology, Introduction to Human Evolution, Historical Archaeology (or a comparable advanced archaeology course) and a fourth course or section to determined in consultation with the Chair.  Ph.D. preferred.  Prior teaching experience and a commitment to undergraduate teaching in a liberal arts setting is essential.
