The site's a bit messy and hard to navigate, but there's a well-labeled 
and surprisingly extensive photo gallery of ceramic insulators here: 
http://www.insulators.com/porcelain/photos/.  The website host also 
offers copies of Tod's "A History of the Electrical Porcelain Industry 
in the United States" book for $20 while supplies last:
