ILCA's Advertising Policy is freely accessible from the "Resource Room" button found on the home page, www.ilca.org.

To cut to the chase:
"When advertising in any ILCA media, advertisers must comply with ILCA’s By-laws, the International Code of Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes and all subsequent WHA resolutions, and all policies set forth in the ILCA Advertising and Publications Policy."

Further, ILCA Bylaw 2.2.1. reads: "As an organization, ILCA and its affiliates will not endorse any literature or products, or accept direct funding from industries producing or marketing products that do not comply with the International Code of Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes and subsequent WHA resolutions."

FYI: "media" is broadly defined, to include the ILCA website, ILCA newsletter (which currently accepts no ads whatsoever), the ILCA Conference Exhibit Hall and conference syllabi, and mailing labels of members.Liz Brooks, JD, IBCLC, ILCA Secretary 2005-08Wyndmoor, PA, USA
