That's like saying that a paper cut is just like a shotgun wound,
except for the inconveniently large gaping wound in the chest of
the shotgun victim.  After, all both bleed, don't they?

The stark LACK of brood problems has been the unusual
thing that makes "CCD" unique from anything else we've
ever seen.  If you ignore this evidence, then, yes, it
could look similar to all sorts of things.
But there lies nonsense.
