This statement is also on that same webpage!

Although breast-feeding is still the best nourishment for infants, infant formula is a close enough second that babies not only survive but thrive.

That is apparently how the FDA views formula - says it all....

They say the AAP is now recommending boiling water for PIF because of  “Milwaukee's water with the parasite Cryptosporidium in 1993”. The segment does not mention e.sakazakii.
