I read with interest your article, 'Breastfeed Gestapo in a milk bilk'.
I have attached copies of the latest reviews from Tufts University and the
AHRQ and from the WHO demonstrating the importance of breastfeeding to human
health for your information.  
Many people think that it doesn't matter whether a baby is breast or bottle
fed. In fact, it does and so it is a decision that should not be made
lightly.  Mothers need to know both the risks and the benefits known to be
associated with their infant feeding decisions if they are going to be able
to make informed choices.  I believe that mothers can handle the truth.
Banning infant formula marketing in hospitals is a step towards informed
choice because it ensures that information about infant feeding comes from
health professionals (who aren't interested in convincing mothers to buy
more of their product as infant formula manufacturers are).
The challenge for the American health care system (and society generally) is
to provide mothers with the skilled help that they need, when they need it,
at a price they can afford, to make breastfeeding achievable.
