Europe lost two of its leading medieval arcaheologists in the last few
weeks both from cancer. Johnny de Meulemeester of the University of
Ghent (Belgium) and former city archeologist of Luxembourg and Alan
Vince, a leading UK urban archaeologist and ceramacist. In addition to
his work on medieval ceramics and towns Alan has also published on
post-medieval pottery and glass.
