Judy, please know that your tax dollars do in fact pay for pumps for  
breastfeeding mothers who need them through the WIC program.  Breast pumps  can be 
purchased by WIC funds. Different states have different methods for doing  this. 
Since availability of pumps may vary. I encourage everyone in the US  to 
contact their local WIC agency to learn what is available for breastfeeding  
support. You may be surprised!
