Larry,

Let me make myself very clear ....

"I am still not happy with the thought of "controlled flaking" as a 
mass production technique FOR MIRRORS".    But, absolutely anything 
is possible ... as the evidence would certainly suggest.

Just a common sense observation.  Jeez.
