Paul, it's BEAUTIFUL!   From the satisfying clicks and whooshes to 
the cracked thumbnail and the tweed jacket, it's perfect.  And he 
made 23 of them!  Did you get the little "CQ" in code near the end!???

What's the electrode metal, do you know? I seem to remember that 
triodes use germanium or tantalum or another fairly arcane metal.

Of course, we all picked up those skills in graduate school. . . just 
takes a little practice, eh?  Every night, 15 Housekeeper seals. 
Keep at it.

My dad made most of his ham radio equipment, but he didn't have a
