The proper way to label Breastmilk is by computer-generated labels that
match the baby's ID - not some cookie cutter product. The best way is
through electronic bar-coding. This is the way of the future. Anything
else is a joke.

Subject: Formula company/Breastmilk labels

I am just about to bust an artery. The ross rep in our area was able to
convince "someone" to accept his generous offer of breastmilk labels for
our NICU. Mind you, we got rid of the bags two years ago in preparation
of BF (which hasn't happened). The rep states since the labels are
different, each baby's milk will be able to be identified to the baby by
the label design. You know, safety. Now all the staff thinks they're
wonderful and isn't it nice that we're getting $600 product free? The
rep promised there would be no ads (ross or similac) on the labels. I
warned the "powers" not to believe him. No surprise to me that the
labels arrived with both Ross and Similac boldly printed on the labels.
This has just happened and we want to move quick to get rid of these.
Please email me at: [log in to unmask] for info and evidence. I'm so mad
I can't think right now. Got a copy of the code but I cannot believe
that this is some kind of corporate violation. Ideas please.
