Not to beat a dead horse, but...My fifeteen month old didn't get teeth untill 
after a year or so.  Anything he did eat cam eout looking like it had gone in.  i 
read somewhere that the digestive system's development is just like all of the 
the others; talking, walking, etc., and when the teeth come out is just as 
important an indicater as losing the toungue thrust and ability to sit up.

Incidentally, if anyone knows the research i'm taking about, I'd love to find it 
again!
