ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

MITS, Museum Institute for Teaching Science, works with 43 museums in
Massachusetts to provide a two-week Summer Institute for K-8 teachers. In
this group are two zoos and an aquarium as well as nature centers, art,
history, and science museums, botanical gardens and other informal
educational organizations. Check out our web page for a list of the
cooperating organizations. Contact me if you want any more specific
information. The Zoos and Aquarium do a wonderful job of teaching
inquiry-based, hands-on methodology through activities that the teachers can
use in their classes. Cheers, Paddy Wade, President

I am interested in learning about any collaborations you've
been involved in or know about -anecdotally, or publications-between
science centers, zoos and/or aquariums.

On list or off and I will summarize.

Best,

Martin
