Could you tell me what a "full latch" is? I have never heard this wording and thank you in advance. Kathy Eng, BSW, IBCLC

RE: Andrea's baby with bloody stools

I find many babies diagnosed and treated for "GERD" when, in fact, the problem is the nursing pattern (short feeds) and/or full latch. Remedial treatment usually corrects the problem, and no medication is needed.
