Isn't that a leap of faith?  
Because a portion of intestines grows back, or because a tumor dissappears,
that means we are "designed by God?"  

Then do all salamanders have other salamanders praying for them every time
they re-grow legs?  And since they are better at re-growing stuff than we
are, does that mean they are God's favorite?

How about people who died even though they were prayed for - is that then
evidence of the absence of God?  Surely if people getting better when they
are prayed for indicates there is a God who designed us, then people taking
a turn for the worse when they are prayed for must indicate there is not a
God who designed us.

Listen, I'm not saying we're *not* designed by God, but I am saying there
isn't proof of it.  I would also argue (much like some ID proponents), that
such an argument is philosophical in nature, not scientific.
I have seen some studies on the power of prayer, and honestly they were
inconclusive (I've seen a couple of such studies, with opposing results, so
I conclude that they are inconclusive).

If you read more about the human body's re-growth capacity, you might find
that there is evidence that humans at young ages, can actually re-grow parts
of fingers - whether they're religious or not.

Remember calling something science, doesn't mean it is actually science.
