No, but hang on a sec: many people feel that things happen for a REASON,
even if they're scientifically explainable. For example... a tsunami hits,
triggered by an earthquake. But why here, why now? A child is ALMOST killed by
cancer, but survives thanks to excellent medicine (but others treated by the
same doc do not survive). Why did your child survive? Many parents of kids
with disabilities feel that they "got" those kids because they could handle
the challenge.
In other words, the divine (or fate) working through science.
Not an unexplainable miracle, but something more like fate, destiny, karma...
