Nancy VanBeek writes:

If after 150 years people still do not believe in evolution, perhaps it
is because of a more underlying cause then a conspiracy theory.

Here, I turn to the wisdom of Stephen Colbert. When interviewing string
theorist Brian Greene ("The Elegant Universe"), Greene said something
about superstrings that was just mind-blowing complicated. Colbert
replied: "NOW do you understand why people like the idea of Intelligent
Design?"

His implication was clear. Things like string theory - or evolution -
can be hard to sum up, let alone understand. Creationism? "God did it."
3 words, 3 syllables, 8 letters. Sort of a warped version of Occam's
Razor.

Just a thought.

"Fire up the klezmer and prepare to become a man, you're in for a
truth-mitzvah!"
